BIO
My name is Raquel Feria Legrand, I am an illustrator and infographics designer and I live with my family in Tomares, a town very close to Seville, Andalusia (Spain).
I am a journalist and I currently coordinate the infographic section of Diario de Sevilla. For almost twenty years, I have been designing maps, data graphs and isometric or vectorial illustrations to explain complex concepts to be published in the different headers of the Grupo Joly.
As a freelancer, I also design infographics for magazines and company publications.
For several years, I have also been doing illustration for editorial, design agencies and advertising or marketing agencies. I also make heritage illustration for exhibitions and museums, drawing pieces, instructions and portraits of historical characters. During this time I have specialized in botanical illustration, applied to the educational, publishing and advertising industry (dossiers, guides, manuals, posters and packaging).
I also illustrate for my personal project, which I distribute on the Etsy platform.
I consider myself a responsible person, quite demanding and meticulous with each of my assignments. I am both flexible and versatile, easily adapting to the needs and requirements of each work and I can easily find creative solutions to each client’s problems.
My experience working in multidisciplinary teams, both national and international, always remote, is extensive.
